In this Founders Associate role, you will take on the unique opportunity of joining an early-stage EdTech start-up who are on a mission to help every international student in the UK land their dream job. Currently only 7% of international students in the UK secure their dream job, despite investing thousands of pounds on their degrees. Our client is here to challenge this current situation.
 
This innovative start-up is currently in the pilot phase, with 3 active team members. They are now looking for their fourth member to help drive exponential success. With exciting growth plans for this year and beyond, they are looking for a driven and inquisitive graduate to join their team as a Founders Associate. Job description - Founders Associate
In this Founders Associate role, you'll be involved with supporting the entire team with various projects. However, your main focus will be working in partnership with the Founder.
 
Your role will be incredibly broad to support business and founder needs whilst the company embarks on aggressive growth. You will focus largely on internal and external operations, stakeholder and client relationship management, coming up with innovative ideas, as well as being involved in product, client liaison, and customer journeys.
 
You will be given the opportunity to run solo projects from start to finish in a variety of areas. As one of the start-up’s first employees, your role will evolve to meet the needs of the company, so the ability to be adaptive and work with initiative is key.  
 
Key responsibilities - Operations Executive
In this Graduate Founders Associate role in Education Technology, you'll be involved in:
  • Build systems that save the team time – you will be an innovative thinker and problem solver.
  • Managing internal and customer operations.
  • Managing inbound requests and transfers, and activating these operations.
  • Becoming the first point of call for queries and questions from new and existing clients.
  • Working broadly to support the needs of the business, getting exposure to varied responsibilities.
  • Managing and taking ownership of individual projects.
  • Bringing new ideas to the table to streamline operations.
  • Managing client accounts and building strong client & stakeholder relationships.
  • Exposure to customer journeys.
  • Involvement with marketing operations.
  • Taking on responsibilities involving the product itself and how it evolves over time.
  • Using feedback from customers to improve the product and services – having a huge impact on the business and its development!
  • Performance monitoring, tracking and analysis.
 
  Job requirements - Graduate Operations Executive
  • A 1st from a top 10 university.
  • A real all-rounder at university, with leadership roles, societies, projects, internships, study abroad, etc.
  • A total self-starter. You’ll be having an immense impact on the business which is constantly developing and progressing, you need to be ready for and excited about the fast-paced environment of an early-stage start-up business!
  • Very high level of initiative and ability to start their next task independently, and solve problems solo.
  • A strong operational skillset – someone who is incredibly organised and able to track progress of projects and processes.
  • Have strong team-working and communication skills and is commercially-minded.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
