We have an exciting opportunity at OddsMonkey for a graduate Marketing Specialist in London, focused on managing both paid and organic campaigns.

Oddsmonkey is a Matched Betting subscription business offering its members the tools, training and support to earn profits through matched betting.

As part of a small team, you will take charge of the day-to-day management of our social media channels while contributing significantly to paid search and social campaigns. This includes campaign reporting and identifying innovative growth opportunities.

While experience with matched betting is a plus, it’s not essential. However, we encourage candidates to familiarise themselves with the industry and the Digital Marketing Specialist role details, ahead of the interview.

 

Job Responsibilities - Digital Marketing Specialist Role

  • Social Media Management: Oversee OddsMonkey’s social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Reddit and X, ensuring all content adheres to UK gambling regulations and maintains brand consistency.
  • Paid Marketing: Assist in managing paid marketing activities across all platforms, optimising campaign performance to maximise ROI.
  • Campaign Reporting: Conduct regular analysis and reporting on campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing actionable insights.
  • Marketing Automation: Design and implement marketing automation workflows, including email campaigns and journeys, to enhance user engagement and conversion rates.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to monitor and understand product performance metrics such as growth, churn and retention, using these insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Creative Campaign Development: Generate and develop innovative ideas for marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement and customer acquisition.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about performance trends, conducting research and collaborating with product and marketing teams to execute data-driven strategies and fresh initiatives.
  • Content creation: The Digital Marketing Specialist will be directly responsible for delivering social content in several channels.

 

Job Requirements - Digital Marketing Job in London

Must-Have:

  • Social Media Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing and growing social media accounts, including content planning, engagement and performance tracking.
  • Advertising Knowledge: A solid understanding of advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads and other relevant tools, with a willingness to develop expertise.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: A creative mindset is a must for this Digital Marketing Specialist opportunity, to develop innovative solutions and campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-Driven: A goal-oriented attitude with a proven ability to deliver results under pressure and within deadlines.
  • Positive and Proactive: The Digital Marketing Specialist must have a can-do approach with enthusiasm for tackling challenges in a competitive industry.

Desirable:

  • Experience in Paid Advertising Campaigns: Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, or similar platforms to run and optimise paid campaigns.
  • Content Creation Skills: Ability to create engaging content, including graphics, videos, or copy, to enhance social media and campaign performance.
  • Email Marketing Expertise: Experience in designing, segmenting and optimising email campaigns and automated email journeys for engagement and conversion.
  • CRM and Automation Tools: Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing automation tools such as Amplitude, customer.io
  • Basic Design Skills: Proficiency in tools like Canva, Photoshop, or similar for creating or editing visual content.
  • Copywriting Experience: Ability to write compelling copy tailored to specific audiences and platforms.
  • Passion for Betting or Sports: An active interest in sports, betting, or related markets to bring an authentic perspective to campaigns.
