What is the job? - Data Science Apprenticeship (Level 6)
Why not accelerate your career with a Data Science Apprenticeship at Unilever? Working in a diverse, global business, you will gain invaluable work experience supporting world-class brands.
Working under the guidance of a dedicated line manager, you will gain the technical knowledge and skills you need to succeed through a combination of real, practical experience and formal training. You can expect on-the-job training, formal development opportunities, and dedicated mentoring.
Data science is one of the most exciting fields of study today! A Data Science apprentice at Unilever will look to find information in diverse data sets to address complex problems and learn skills in computer science, statistics, data analysis, and much more.
What do we look for? - Data Science Apprenticeship (Level 6)
You will have a passion for data and the opportunities it brings for speed and efficiency of decision-making as well as for creativity, innovation, and business impact. You will have personal values that resonate with those of Unilever and a desire to work with others to achieve wonderful things for our consumers and our planet.
Day-to-day responsibilities? - Data Science Apprenticeship (Level 6)

The latter is where you help make the magic happen for business colleagues and their processes. On any given day you could be cleaning and improving the quality of data, creating models and dashboards, and exploring ways to use generative AI (Artificial Intelligence) to enhance productivity.

Recruitment fraud
Cybercriminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.
How is Unilever tackling this?
Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scans for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and acts to close them down.
What can I do?
If you become aware of potential recruitment fraud, spot fake Unilever recruitment adverts or fake LinkedIn profiles, report them via Una Live Chat.
Unilever does not accept responsibility or liability for any candidates who are financially impacted by recruitment fraud. Your vigilance is key!
