Job Description - Customer Operations Executive
In this Fintech start-up, Your role will focus on customer and internal operations, primarily focused on the pension finding process.

Your role will be investigative, administrative and research-focused, and you'll also be ensuring that customers receive an excellent service, including making sure they are kept updated throughout the pension finding process.

You'll also need to be thorough and be willing to go that extra mile to find their lost pensions, even when information is not readily available.

You’ll need to be a self-starter who can adapt and learn quickly. They are still a small team so they need someone who is willing to get their hands dirty and do the day-to-day work required.
 
Key responsibilities - Customer Operations Executive
In this Research Assistant role in Finance Technology, you'll be involved in:
  • Managing internal and customer operations: the pension finding process - you will mange and take ownership of individual operations projects, as well as contributing to larger projects
  • Conducting independent research to identify and verify the details of relevant employers and associated pension schemes
  • Communicating regularly with customers to keep them informed of progress regarding their pension search
  • Ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for customers
  • Conducting outbound calls to employers and pension providers
  • Providing feedback on current processes
  • Strategising new ideas to improve and automate the process, to contribute to the continued improvement of services and operations
  • Managing key administrative and operational functions for the business
  • Delivering an exceptional customer and client experience
 
 
Job requirements - Customer Operations Executive
  • A 2:1 or above from university, all degrees are welcome – you don’t need to have a finance background!
  • Some foundational experience within administration, customer service, or operational support through internships or previous work experience is highly advantageous  
  • Proven ability to excel in and enjoy a customer facing and operational position 
  • Analytical capabilities - someone who is comfortable working on spreadsheets and conducting research & data work
  • Exceptional communication skills and passionate about delivering a high-quality customer service
  • Fantastic organisational skills - you'll be able to prioritise your workload effectively and independently 
  • Detail-oriented
  • This company is London-based, however you do not need to be based in London. The successful applicant can choose to work in the office, hybrid in office / from home, or remotely from anywhere in the UK
  • You must be a current UK resident, with full right to work in the UK
  • Able to travel to the London office quarterly for their in person operations day (expenses covered)
