Overview - Content Marketing Executive

As Content Marketing Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving digital marketing efforts on behalf of one of our key clients by creating, managing, and optimising high-quality content. You will work closely with our account team, creative studio, and other stakeholders to ensure that outputted content aligns with our clients’ brand strategy and delivers exceptional results.

The role will include optimising product pages on Amazon to aid shopper consideration and conversion, ensuring content is fresh and relevant and that product descriptions and imagery are accurate.

This is a hybrid role: 1-2 days in the office, per week.

Primary responsibilities - Content Marketing Executive

  • Working with clients on new content requests and New Product Introductions
  • Developing and executing content strategies to achieve client-specific marketing goals
  • Working with in-house creative team to create engaging content, including product pages and videos
  • Collaborating with the creative team to produce visually appealing and effective content
  • Managing content calendars and workflows to ensure timely delivery
  • Managing content approvals prior to publication
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices
  • Working with clients and translations agencies on content translations
  • Conducting content audits to identify gaps and redundancies in content
  • Answering client queries and responding to specific tasks, as appropriate and as delegated by the Account Manager/Account Director
  • Acting as internal liaison between Account team and other internal teams as appropriate
  • Assisting in ensuring all deadlines are met and budgets are managed efficiently
  • Managing meeting co-ordination, and ensuring that the team have all appropriate materials to hand
  • Preparation and issuing of all relevant documentation required to monitor the progress of work (status reports, budget trackers etc.)
  • Development and monitoring of project time plans, highlighting dependencies and flagging any impacts any adjustments would have
  • Controlling costs within agreed budgets, constantly striving to improve cost effectiveness
  • Managing external suppliers as required to ensure smooth progression of projects
  • Providing regular updates on the progress of work
  • Maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity when representing the Agency

Your day-to-day tasks in this Digital Marketing role may include:

  • Briefing creative team on new content requests with multiple language outputs
  • Auditing existing content across multiple websites/channels
  • Publishing content
  • Attending content planning meetings with clients
  • Updating client on project statuses
  • Liaison with translation agencies and other regional agencies
  • Building time plans to ensure timely delivery and execution
  • Managing budgets

Job requirements - Content Marketing Executive

  • A proven desire to pursue a Content Marketing career in an agency environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A passion for digital marketing and a creative mindset
  • Ability to demonstrate/develop/nurture client relationships by way of strong client management and client facing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients across multiple geographies and against tight deadlines
  • Strong, administrative, time-management and co-ordination skills with the ability to operate to tight deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and with strong numeracy skills
  • Proficient working understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Confident and proactive communicator
  • Ability to work under pressure and to multi-task but equally able to work individually or as part of a team
  • A dynamic personality – engaging, positive, enthusiastic, and confident.
