In this Business Analyst job, you will join the Manchester HQ of a UK wide corporation. Their experienced team supports a wide variety of British business, specifically helping them to identify and manage commercial risk.

They offer a range of services across the full third party risk life cycle – with a particular focus on cyber security and client privacy.  

Job description – Business Analyst
In this Graduate Business Analyst role in Manchester, you’ll be at the center of driving efficiency, uncovering risk, analysing documentation and creating reports - which will in turn support the growth of the company.

Every day you will use your analytical mindset to solve business challenges. You will need to be a confident communicator, as you will collaborate with teams across the business to streamline processes and take ownership of key initiatives.   

Key responsibilities - Business Analyst
As a Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Shadowing a senior team member and assisting them with a variety of third party risk consulting projects
  • Helping to create and design project frameworks and encouraging stakeholders to keep within said frameworks
  • Contributing to the design of operating models and commercial options
  • Participating in systems and process assessments, reporting on what has worked best and sharing your findings with your wider team
  • Managing administration throughout a variety of projects, specifically documenting business processes
  • Completing documentation, specifically risk assessment documents for your client base
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of risk assessment activities, effectively and within agreed timescales. 

Job requirements - Business Analyst
  • 2:1 from university, ideally in a STEM subject
  • Sharp eye for detail and a passion for working in a fast paced business
  • Relationship-building skills for connecting with team members across departments and creating strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and an ability to quickly grasp new information and explain it clearly to others.
  • Innovative problem-solver who thrives on finding creative solutions to challenges and delivering smart, effective results.
  • Personal development enthusiast, always looking for ways to grow and improve both personally and professionally.
  • Adaptability to dynamic environments, shifting priorities, and changing tasks when needed.
