Key responsibilities - Supply Chain and Logistics Graduate
This Supply Chain and Logistics Graduate opportunity in Sydney will involve 2.5 years of training in all operational processes, systems, and industry certifications across:
- Perishable Airfreight Export
- General Airfreight export
- Warehouse operations
- Perishable Seafreight Export
- Perishable & General Airfreight & Seafreight import
- eCommerce
- Health and time critical/imports
- Perishable operations
- Customer interaction
- Carrier interaction
- Warehouse interaction
- Documentation preparation - compliance, customs, cargo etc.
- Coordination with transport providers
- Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant subject, e.g., commerce, logistics, or supply chain (this helps, but the subject isn't an absolute must)
- Any previous work experience
- Real interest in developing a career in operations, especially in the freight industry
- Comfortable with numbers & data - analytical mindset
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail is a must
