Job Description - Junior Marketing and Social Media Coordinator
In this Junior Marketing & Social Media Coordinator (Part-Time) role you’ll play a key role in building and running this organisations marketing function from the ground up. Expect a wide variety of tasks, from social media content creation and newsletters to video content support and email automation. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who’s keen to learn and grow their marketing skills across multiple channels.
You’ll work alongside the founder and take ownership of projects. This role suits someone with a self-starter mindset who’s comfortable learning on the go.
Key Responsibilities - Junior Marketing and Social Media Coordinator
In this Junior Marketing & Communications Coordinator role based in South Melbourne, you can expect the following tasks, but not limited to:
- Coordinating, planning, and executing marketing activities
- Formatting and distributing newsletters (Mailchimp), and setting up and managing email automation sequences
- Managing and scheduling social media content across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok)
- Creating designs and graphics using Canva
- Supporting marketing and communications tasks as the business evolves
- Graduate or currently studying Marketing and/or adjacent degrees
- Experience with Canva, Mailchimp
- Video editing, Squarespace, email sequencing, SEO or digital analytics experience (bonus but not essential)
- Confident written communication skills
- Proactive with strong initiative – comfortable learning by doing
- Open to feedback, curious, and willing to try new things
- Professional maturity and self-awareness
- Flexible schedule
