Job description – Junior Field Technician
In this junior field technician role, you will learn how to provide installation, maintenance and repairs to customer equipment and operating systems. You will provide ongoing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers and provide technical support to field technicians.

Job responsibilities – Junior Field Technician
As a Junior Field Technician, your role will involve, but not be limited to:
  • Customer service: communicate clearly and professionally with clients
  • Technical Diagnosis and repairs: inspect, test and diagnose equipment faults, apply the correct technical solutions
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the Team leader
  • Install, configure and commission new hardware/software, ensuring systems are fully operational
  • Inventory compliance: Using a job management system to log job progress

Job requirements – Junior Field Technician
  • Ideally educated with a Certificate III or Degree in Electronics or Information Technology
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Excellent proficiency in computer applications and software including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer-centric mindset!
  • The ability to understand and apply electronic principles, e.g. familiarity with mobile phones and laptops
  • Practical experience with computer hardware and related systems
  • Knowledge of service-related electronic equipment
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance
