The Role - Hardware & Field Service Technician
Based in Canberra, you'll install, maintain and troubleshoot site access hardware including turnstiles, facial recognition cameras and kiosks across construction sites nationally. You'll also get hands-on exposure to the R&D side, helping test and improve the IoT hardware behind the platform.
Job responsibilities - Hardware & Field Service Technician:
- Installing and maintaining site access hardware including turnstiles, cameras and kiosks
- Carrying out service visits for repairs, maintenance and diagnostics
- Travelling to construction sites across Australia
- Providing technical and implementation support to clients on-site
- Contributing to research and development of new IoT hardware solutions
- Testing new tech releases and helping assure quality
- A passion for technology and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Confidence using hand and power tools (or a willingness to learn)
- Comfortable travelling interstate
- A full Australian driver's licence
- Australian citizenship required, as some clients require security clearance
