We're hiring a Hardware & Field Service Technician for a fast-growing construction tech business based in Canberra, that partners with some of Australia's largest developers and contractors.

You'll be joining a small, tight-knit hardware team where everyone works closely together and shares knowledge freely.
 
The Role - Hardware & Field Service Technician
Based in Canberra, you'll install, maintain and troubleshoot site access hardware including turnstiles, facial recognition cameras and kiosks across construction sites nationally. You'll also get hands-on exposure to the R&D side, helping test and improve the IoT hardware behind the platform.
 
Job responsibilities - Hardware & Field Service Technician:
  • Installing and maintaining site access hardware including turnstiles, cameras and kiosks
  • Carrying out service visits for repairs, maintenance and diagnostics
  • Travelling to construction sites across Australia
  • Providing technical and implementation support to clients on-site
  • Contributing to research and development of new IoT hardware solutions
  • Testing new tech releases and helping assure quality
Job requirements - Hardware & Field Service Technician:
  • A passion for technology and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Confidence using hand and power tools (or a willingness to learn)
  • Comfortable travelling interstate
  • A full Australian driver's licence
  • Australian citizenship required, as some clients require security clearance
