We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic graduate accountant to manage the accounting and budgeting processes for feature films. This is not a 9-5 accounting role, it requires passion, versatility, leadership, and a desire to learn the entertainment industry inside out.

Key Responsibilities:

Budget Management:

Creating and managing production budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring costs stay within allocated limits.
Financial Reporting:

Preparing regular cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final financial statements for producers, financiers, and other stakeholders.
Payment Processing:

Overseeing the payment of invoices, crew salaries, and other production-related expenses.
Payroll Management:

Managing payroll for cast and crew, including processing timesheets, calculating wages, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Cost Control:

Monitoring spending across all departments, identifying potential overruns, and working with the production team to implement cost-saving measures.
Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, union rules, and tax laws.
Liaison:

Working with producers, line producers, unit production managers, and other key personnel to manage financial aspects of the production.
Pre-Production:

Assisting with budgeting and financial planning before filming begins.
Post-Production:

Preparing final cost reports, facilitating audits, and assisting with tax incentive applications.
