We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic graduate accountant to manage the accounting and budgeting processes for feature films. This is not a 9-5 accounting role, it requires passion, versatility, leadership, and a desire to learn the entertainment industry inside out.

Budget Management:Creating and managing production budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring costs stay within allocated limits.

Financial Reporting:Preparing regular cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final financial statements for producers, financiers, and other stakeholders.

Payment Processing:Overseeing the payment of invoices, crew salaries, and other production-related expenses.

Payroll Management:Managing payroll for cast and crew, including processing timesheets, calculating wages, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Cost Control:Monitoring spending across all departments, identifying potential overruns, and working with the production team to implement cost-saving measures.

Compliance:Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, union rules, and tax laws.

Liaison:Working with producers, line producers, unit production managers, and other key personnel to manage financial aspects of the production.

Pre-Production:Assisting with budgeting and financial planning before filming begins.

Post-Production:Preparing final cost reports, facilitating audits, and assisting with tax incentive applications.
