Job description - Customer Consultant
As a Customer Consultant, you'll be a key contact for members across superannuation, managed funds, and international investing services. This role goes beyond handling enquiries, you'll build trusted relationships with customers, provide tailored guidance, and collaborate closely with internal teams to improve products and processes.
 
With your prior customer service or financial services experience, you'll step in to explain complex concepts clearly, while spotting opportunities to improve the customer journey.
 
Job responsibilities - Customer Consultant
In this customer consultant role, the daily tasks will include, but not be limited to:
  • Be the primary point of contact to customers via email, chat and phone
  • Offer specialised support for superannuation enquiries
  • Help their customers across the managed investment and US investing products
  • Build customer relationships and nurture customer loyalty
  • Capture and communicate customer feedback to product and operations teams
  • Contribute ideas to enhance service delivery and process efficiency
Job requirements - Customer Consultant
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts in plain language
  • Previous customer-facing experience in financial services, banking, superannuation, or FinTech ideally (but not essential)
  • Empathetic problem-solver who thrives in a fast-moving, customer-first environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Tech-curious, adaptable, and eager to learn about evolving financial products
