Job description – Business Operations Graduate
Reporting to the Sales and Planning Manager within the Commercial Operations team, you will prepare reports and insights on products. The Business Operations graduate will support the business by managing and analysing data regarding sales and distribution operations.
 
There will be an opportunity to contribute to the strategic decision-making process and drive efficiencies in the department.
 
Responsibilities of the role – Business Operations Graduate
In this Business Operations role, you can expect the following tasks, but not be limited to:
 
Supply chain management:
  • Helping with efficient transportation operations
  • Coordinating with shipping partners
  • Assisting retailers with shipping inquiries
  • Evaluating transport schedules and overseeing costs associated
Inventory management:
  • Allocating customer orders efficiently
  • Assisting Business Development Managers with retailer inquiries (production timelines, vehicle arrivals etc)
  • Coordinating with logistics providers
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for retailers
Budget Management
  • Creating Purchase Orders
  • Recording within the budget management system
  • Documenting all financial activities for the commercial operations team
  • Preparing and maintaining budget costing reports
Please note this is a graduate role and you will be trained in the above responsibilities.

 
Requirements of the role – Business Operations Graduate
  • Educated to degree level, ideally with a relevant degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business (but not essential)
  • Previous experience in administration, data analysis or record management is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data
  • Great communicator, both written and verbal
  • Interest in the automotive industry would be desirable
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities and stakeholders
  • The ability to meet deadlines independently and within a team
  • Well-versed with Microsoft 365
