Job description - Business Development Executive

This emerging fintech team is looking for someone eager and looking to progress their career in business development. You will play an integral part in the team by helping drive growth with inbound and outbound activity for new potential clients.

Key responsibilities - Business Development Executive
In this business development role, you can expect the following duties and more:
  • Be a key player in their Commercial team based in their Melbourne office.
  • Uncover and define the best growth opportunities, including new customers, new verticals and new sales strategies.
  • Manage inbound leads as the first point of contact for many new and growing businesses.
  • Run outbound campaigns to reach prospective customers who may not be familiar with the company.
  • Provide invaluable feedback to the product and operations teams to ensure that we continue to offer our customers the best possible experience.
  • Hands-on training will be provided by leaders of the business and the business development team to create a supportive environment.
Job requirements - Business Development Executive
  • A customer-first mindset is crucial.
  • The ability and enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivation with high-energy levels that inspire others.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Problem solver!
  • Comfortable working alone and in teams; you will be expected to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a sales environment, ideally in a B2B context is helpful, but not essential.
  • A go-getter attitude; attitude is everything for this fast-growing startup.
