Currently managing in excess of £2,5billion in FX, they're a debt-free business in major growth mode. They've found an extremely profitable specialism in mid-cap to enterprise clients and financial institutions, and are looking to double their sales team in 2024. 

Job description - Portfolio Manager
Our client is currently seeking a dedicated FX Broker to join their esteemed team. The FX Broker will be responsible for generating revenue through the development of new relationships with clients, facilitating foreign exchange transactions, providing valuable insights into market trends, and offering tailored solutions to clients to meet their currency trading objectives.

Key responsibilities - Portfolio Manager
  1. Sales and Business Development: Actively engage in sales activities to acquire new clients and expand the client portfolio.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture relationships with clients to understand their FX requirements and provide appropriate trading solutions.
  3. Market Analysis: Stay updated on global market trends, analyse currency fluctuations, and provide informed advice on potential opportunities and risks.
  4. Execution of Trades: Execute FX transactions efficiently while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  5. Risk Management: Monitor and manage risks associated with currency trading, providing proactive strategies to mitigate potential losses.

Job requirements - Portfolio Manager
  • University Degree or Relevant Sales Experience: A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, relevant sales experience in the financial sector will be considered.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
    • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to effectively promote FX trading solutions.
    • Proven track record in sales, demonstrating determination, resilience, and a proactive approach to achieving targets.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
