We're now on the lookout for a bright and creative Paid Social Marketing Executive to join our talented in-house Marketing team to play a crucial part in growing and developing the Give a Grad a Go brand.

Job description - Paid Social and Marketing Executive
In this graduate Marketing role in London, you will be working in an extremely varied and challenging role.

It will require a large amount of autonomy, idea generation and would ideally be suited to someone who has experience in Paid Social, client or account management and content creation.

We’re looking for someone who is a bit of an all-rounder, creative but also analytically minded and has excellent attention to detail. You will be working to devise and implement new, creative ways to attract and engage candidates & clients.
Key responsibilities - Paid Social and Marketing Executive
As our new Client and Social Marketing Executive, your responsibilities will include 2 main areas:  
Organic and Paid Social Media job: 70%  
  • Paid social management – planning, creating & reporting on campaigns. 
  • Managing budgets and tracking ROI from campaigns  
  • Tracking digital KPI’s to measure campaign performance & report back. 
  • Continual research to stay ahead of the game and drawing insights from data that leads to effective cross-channel media tactics 
  • Using initiative to measure results of output and optimise for improvements, thinking outside the box to drive more engagement, and win more leads. 
  • Ensuring correct tracking is in place for paid search – and taking responsibility for adding this where required. 
  • Writing copy for socials; taking into consideration the Give a Grad a Go tone of voice for both our B2B and B2C audiences. 
  • Creating video content for our social channels, comfortable being on camera.  
  • Using SEO tactics to optimise videos for YouTube. 
  • Creating copy for BD and partnership outreach. 
  • Speaking to our student network and launching social media competitions. 
  • Link building and PR outreach - generating new opportunities for our brand online. 
Client Management/ B2B Marketing role: 30%  
  • Managing our job posting & employer branding clients - proactively identifying commercial opportunities for clients and making recommendations for new revenue streams. 
  • Posting client’s jobs on our job board, using SEO tactics to ensure job specs are performing well on our site. 
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of clients’ accounts to identify trends or issues to raise them with the wider team. 
  • Produce detailed and accurate client performance reports and competitor analysis. 
  • Be responsible for managing paid social budgets. 
  • Ensuring all employer enquiries are responded to in a prompt and professional manner. 
  • The opportunity to get involved with events. 
Whilst the role is predominantly paid social/ client focused, with being in a small team the suitable applicant will be expected to be happy to take on responsibilities outside of this remit to help collectively achieve wider team and company goals. This will include end of month review reports, CRM data management and other day-to-day ad hoc duties. 
Job requirements - Paid Social and Marketing Executive
  • A 2.1 or above from university.  
  • Evidence of previously ran successful Paid Social campaigns with evidence of managing budgets  
  • We are looking for a creative individual with exceptional written communication skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.  
  • A great work ethic twinned with an excellent academic and/ or commercial track record. 
  • Exceptional people skills and confidence being on camera. 
  • Ability to analyse data and identify trends in customer behaviour. 
  • Commercial maturity - this role requires someone with initiative and the ability to think on your feet.  
  • Someone who can keep lots of plates spinning at once – this is a very varied and exciting role, we’d like you to be passionate at finding new ways to increase our brand presence. 
  • Ideally some knowledge of SEO is desired but not necessary.
