Job description - Operations Analyst
In this Hedge Fund Operations role, you will be working at the heart of the business, gaining exposure to the entire operations of a Hedge Fund from execution to settlement. The role is designed for someone with impeccable organisational skills, attention to detail, and meticulous communicative ability as the day-to-day is both process-driven but also incredibly varied in responsibility.

Key responsibilities - Operations Analyst
In this Operations Analyst role, your responsibilities will include:
- To own and control all aspects of hedge fund operations, confirmations, affirmations, reconciliations, and settlements functions
- To review all trade bookings and to ensure all allocations are booked correctly and communicated with brokers. In all cases, to lead the allocation splits and broker communication process
- To coordinate with the external fund administrator to ensure all trades are correctly captured, recorded, and reconciled
- To review and oversee the pricing and trade file management for the firm
- To maintain and enhance the firm's portfolio management system (Paladyne) and assist in the management of the vendor relationship to ensure timely resolution of systems issues
- To communicate end-of-day exposures & P&L estimates to the firm
- To assist the PMs with ad hoc analysis
- To work closely with prime brokerage and counterparty operation teams to ensure smooth processes are in place for a clean workflow
- To assist with compliance matters where necessary
- Ensure all trading queries have been resolved
- Margin and treasury management
Job requirements - Operations Analyst
- A minimum of a 2.1 in a finance-related degree subject
- Some commercial experience in a financial setting is a plus but not a necessity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- A hands-on approach with strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to work in a fast-paced environment therefore
- The ability to demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach is desirable
