Overview - Customer Service Asssitant
At Thrifty Plumbing Supplies, we have a small team who work closely together, and who are expertly skilled in their areas of responsibility.
This is a permanent full-time position (Monday-Friday), and is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for the next challenge in their career. We offer stability & potential career progression for the right candidate.
Your main duties will include, but are not limited to - Customer Service Assistant
- Placing orders for plumbing & bathroom products
- Liaising with suppliers regarding purchase orders & updating the system
- Communicating order status to Sales/Management/Warehouse teams across 3 branches
- Customer liaison for orders, payment processing & scheduling deliveries
- Data input - for stock receipts & resolving any discrepancies
- Answering phones and emails
- Sales administration and support to the sales and dispatch team
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and transactions
To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate - Customer Service Assistant
- Excellent organisational skills with basic computer systems knowledge
- A solid understanding of the flow of information within a business
- The ability to work within a team and busy environment, whilst managing multiple tasks on the go
- Effective communication skills and a willingness to assist in all areas of business operations as well as the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong attention to detail
You will be a self motivated, energetic, and friendly team member who has a strong ability to problem solve, multi-task, and work efficiently in order to meet critical deadlines. You also need to possess the skill of taking absolute ownership on all things which affect the results of your works.
You will also be comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, and previous experience processing orders and invoicing using any system would be valuable. Basic knowledge of sales would be ideal.
