Job description – Commercial and Contracts Graduate In this Commercial and Contracts Graduate role, you will handle management accounting tasks such as project reporting, financial reporting and bookkeeping. You will also assess contracts to assist with compliance and risk management.
You will work with various members of the team including the accountant, general counsel and CEO/founder of the business to aid you in your responsibilities.

Key responsibilities - Commercial and Contracts GraduateIn this Commercial and Contracts Graduate role, you will learn the following tasks:
- Assist in the preparation, review, and management of contracts.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met and documented.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Support the accountant in managing financial records and transactions.
- Prepare and present regular project reports, including progress, financials and risks.
- Assisting in preparing budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
- Work closely with the accountant to manage contractor payments and invoicing.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records and assist in managing accounts payable and receivable.
Job Requirements - Commercial and Contracts Graduate - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Law, Finance etc.)
- Experience and knowledge of Contract law and commercial principles.
- Experience using accounting software Xero and financial reporting tools (desirable).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft OfficeSuite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Energetic and positive attitude!
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn.
